After gaining my ACCA accountancy qualification and world-class technical skills with a “Big 4” accountancy firm in London I followed my passion for business partnering working for a multi-national retailer Arcadia Ltd as a senior finance lead. Presenting to Boards and managing day to day budgets in excess of £50m I have outstanding financial management skills which I apply to small to medium sized businesses looking for a commercial edge to their finance function. 

 

I set up Henleys Accountancy Services to offer clients finance business partnering services which provide the missing link between the work produced by a small accounting team and the needs of leaders in the business. A lot of medium sized businesses do not have a CFO or Commercial Finance Manager and this is where Henleys can step in and fulfil that need. Working with clients on an ongoing basis means we develop systems and processes to meet the financial needs of the business. This may be producing business cases to look at the cost-benefits of changing strategy in the business or developing financial analysis from existing software such as forecasts allowing the leaders in the organisation to make informed strategic decisions.
