My
Story
As a child I dreamed of being a hairdresser and my Dad promised he would help me to set up my own salon after I finished school. I took a Saturday job at 14 years old and was devastated to realise my skin was too eczema prone to sustain the career that I had hoped for.

My journey in to the world of work was via a different route and I continued to study until I knew what I wanted to do next. After a gap year in Australia, I decided to use my maths brain to become an accountant. I moved to London in my early 20s and gained my ACCA accountancy qualification with an international accountancy firm.

I followed my passion for finance working as a Commercial Finance Manager for the Arcadia Group working for brands including Topshop, Burton and Miss Selfridge at the head office on Oxford Street, rubbing shoulders with Kate Moss and Karren Brady CBE (of The Apprentice).
Presenting numbers to Directors and managing day to day budgets in excess of £250m I have exceptional finance knowledge which I apply to business owners in the hair and beauty industry with a profit-focus.

I set up Henleys Accountancy Services to provide clear and simple accountancy advice and over the years I have tailored the packages to align with where you are on your journey as a business owner in the hair and beauty industry.
